The current update incorporates the new hip orthosis for non-surgical treatment. Thus active patients with osteoarthritis of the hip, rheumatoid arthritis, or impingement syndrome can set up continuing training to be carried out at home in order to alleviate their symptoms and improve mobility.
The exercises have been developed in cooperation with physicians and physical therapists and are adapted to the relevant condition. For osteoarthritis, for example, the focus is on daily movement patterns, such as step changes and climbing the stairs. Training and rest phases guarantee that the patient is not subjected to excessive strain. One session lasts a maximum of 30 minutes, and the exercises are demonstrated by a trainer in a video. Before starting, patients can adapt the program to their current level of pain and training goal.
