Protection for the healing ankle

Particularly for recent injuries or in the period immediately following surgery, your ankle needs special protection. AirLoc stabilizes the ankle with two anatomically contoured plastic shells. They are connected flexibly below the heel and fixed to the lower leg using Velcro straps. This allows the orthosis to perfectly adapt to your foot width and degree of swelling.

Air cushions on the inside guarantee the perfect fit and ensure a high degree of wearing comfort. The cushions can be inflated as needed with the air pump included.

Fit again fast

When you wear AirLoc with a closed shoe, the plastic splints protect your ankle against further sprains. The air cushions exert gentle pressure on the tissue around the ankle. They also comfortably cushion your injured ankle, relieve your pain and ensure excellent wearing comfort.

The AirLoc’s perfect fit guarantees contact over a large area, which positively influence sensorimotor function: you can control your muscles more efficiently, stabilizing your foot with your own strength. The AirLoc gives you the confidence to move correctly and without fear despite your injury. This allows you to start physiotherapy at an early stage and return to your normal everyday life. After all, the golden rule for optimal recovery is: being active is key to good health!
