SofTec® Genu

Stabilizing and muscle-activating knee orthosis

Here’s what SofTec Genu offers: two lateral joint splints prevent harmful movements. The “smart” hinges can be adjusted precisely to your knee’s rotational axis. A special knit promotes the knee’s proprioception for more stability and improved movement patterns. In this way, SofTec Genu provides increased stability and ensures healthy movement.

  • Faster return to full load-bearing thanks to enhanced sense of protection
  • The strong protection of an orthosis combined with the activating function of a support
  • Easy to put on thanks to zipper and positioning aid

Excellent stability during movement

An injured or operated knee requires stability and protection against incorrect strain. Most importantly, however, it needs help to help itself. After all, an injury can only fully heal through active movement; only movement can slow the progress of degenerative changes.

SofTec Genu combines the properties of an orthosis with the benefits of a support: on the one hand, two joint splints limit your knee’s harmful range of motion to the desired range. This protects you against painful incorrect movements. Since the knee’s axis of rotation is different for everyone, we outfitted SofTec Genu with “smart” hinges. As a result, it can be adjusted precisely for your knee.

Fit again fast

The special knit promotes the knee’s proprioception for more muscular stability and healthy movement. The knitted fabric also ensures a secure fit of the orthosis. Tensioning straps with Velcro fastening and functional cushions around the kneecap also hold it in position.

A zipper in the calf area makes the support easy to put on and take off. SofTec Genu offers a compact design for all-round stability for your knee. This allows you to start physiotherapy and cautious training at an early stage. After all, when it comes to the knee, being active is key to good health!
