In cases of foot misalignments, such as flat foot or spread foot, wearing conventional sandals can lead to foot pain. If you depend on orthopedic foot orthoses, but still want to enjoy summer or your vacation with lightweight, open footwear, ErgoPad ID:Sandal will promote your foot health. You can also wear these sandals with an orthopedic footbed without any known foot problems to benefit your feet. Once an orthopedist has measured your feet, the sandals will be manufactured and adapted to any possible foot misalignments: the individually modeled cushion layer activates your foot muscles to positively influence your gait and posture, if needed. Plus, the footbed provides you with the required stability during your activities.

To be healthy as well as fashionable, different designs, materials and colors of cushion layers and straps are available for the ErgoPad ID:Sandal. They can be individually combined. Another benefit of the ergonomic sandals is their biocompatible, skin-friendly materials.

All ID:CAM products are sent to our medical retail partners within 48 hours. So you will receive the ergonomic sandals personally made for you in a short time.

ErgoPad ID:Sandal is personally milled for you. Therefore, this product is only available from a medical retailer, an orthopedic shoe technician for example. The orthopedic shoe technician will take all required measurements of your foot to establish its condition using digital measurement technology, foam imprints/blueprints, or a physical examination. Bauerfeind’s sandal assembly kit will then be professionally turned into the finished product for you. The sandals are available in shoe sizes 35-50 and in different colors.

  • If needed, all surfaces can be cleaned with a mild water-soap solution (room temperature) using a sponge or cleaning cloth.
  • Do not clean them in a large quantity of water! Any residual soap must be thoroughly rinsed off with water.
  • The kit and its components are not machine-washable.
  • The shoes are not suitable for use in water.
  • Do not expose the sandals/the assembly kit to direct heat or cold.
  • Mild disinfectants suitable for human skin may be applied sparingly. This may lead to color changes.
