SecuTec® Lumbo

Back orthosis for relief of the lumbar spine, especially the posterior edges of the vertebrae

SecuTec Lumbo straightens your hollow back with a firm knit fabric that encloses the torso. A bridging frame, which can be removed at a more advanced stage of recovery, redistributes the load from the lumbar spine onto the thoracic spine and pelvis. An abdominal pad supports the straightening effect. Thanks to its excellent fit and breathable knitted fabric, the orthosis offers maximum wearing comfort.

  • Counteracts a hollow back
  • Frame and abdominal cushion straighten the lumbar spine
  • Individually adjustable tension to provide relief

Getting your spine back in shape

A pronounced hollow back can have all sorts of causes. This could range from injuries to congenital or age-related conditions. In any case, the incorrect posture can trigger intense back pain. If left untreated, a hollow back can even cause irreversible consequential damages. That’s why it should be nipped in the bud:

SecuTec Lumbo counteracts your hollow back by straightening your lumbar spine with a firm knit fabric that encloses the torso. A bridging frame relieves the lumbar spine by redistributing load along the entire spine. This also protects you against painful rotational movements. At the front, the orthosis features a firm cushion known as the abdominal pad. This supports the straightening effect and enhances the level of relief.

Fit again fast

You can adjust the straightening force of SecuTec Lumbo using two Velcro straps to ensure you stay comfortable. At a more advanced stage of recovery, the bridging frame and abdominal pad can be removed after consultation with your physician. In this way, the stabilization that restricts your movement is gradually reduced. SecuTec Lumbo thus adjusts itself individually to the progress of your treatment. Thanks to its excellent fit and breathable knit fabric, the orthosis offers maximum wearing comfort and plenty of freedom of movement. After all, when it comes to a hollow back, being active is key to good health!
